~Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13~

Mary looks down with sorrow at the body of her Son placed in her arms -- almost unable to hold Him.
He is no longer her little boy, but the Savior.
I have seen them -- burning their lives out joyfully at Your altar in Your service,
Have come upon them sprawled out at Your feet defeated by exhaustion,
Their spirit willing, their flesh weak.
I have seen them -- instruments of God' s mercy and compassion, always
willing to cleanse a sinner's soul,
No matter the hour, ignoring their own desires.
I have seen them -- after a day' s journey to comfort those who mourn, return, only to rush into Your presence,
Eager to spend time with the author of their soul.
I have seen them -- leading children to the foot of Your altar, teaching them to adore You,
Teaching their parents about Hope.
Thank God I have seen them --
Because of them I have seen You.
Mary looks down tenderly and sees the priest He has placed in her arms,
And is filled with Joy.
